Bullying refers to aggressive behavior that is usually repetitive and intentional, in which a power differential exists between the victim and bully.1 Approximately 30% of children are bullied at school. Symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in youths resulting from school bullying are found in a range of between 27% and 40% of cases.2 Sequelae from bullying at school also include anxiety, depression, and suicidality.1-3 The optimal management of PTSD symptoms linked to school bullying remains unclear.
