N2  - <p>Violence in the workplace is an aggressive epidemic affecting health care workers on a global scale (International Labour Organization et al., 2002). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), country case studies reports state that the percentage of workplace violence (WPV) in the health care sector has reached more than 75% in some countries (Di Martino, 2002).
