TY - JOUR PY - 1981// TI - Vehicle and driver effects on junction gap acceptance JO - Traffic engineering and control A1 - Wennell, J A1 - Cooper, DF SP - 628 EP - 632 VL - 22 IS - 12 N2 - Observations of drivers' gap acceptance responses at several non-urban T-junctions in southern England are reported. Two simple turning movements are studied, in which vehicles need consider only one stream of priority traffic: crossing, where a vehicle turns right from the major road into the minor road; and merging, where a vehicle turns left out of the minor road.
