PTSD often results in a severe reduction of the quality of life, and is significantly associated with the risk of suicide. This paper identifies the current list of free mobile applications (apps) available in Android platform for smartphone users with PTSD. This paper also assesses the functionalities of the apps selected. The result of this study may assist PTSD apps seekers for self-support, and serve as a reference for researchers and developers, who intend proposing stress management apps.
