N2  - More than five years have passed since autonomous driving of automobiles has become an important topic in society. Nevertheless, the realization of "autonomous driving" still seems to be far away. Is autonomous driving really feasible? In this paper, we take the position that asking this question is not always appropriate. On that basis, I would like to reiterate the importance of thinking about what kind of autonomous driving will be realized and how to utilize autonomous driving technology in society, and I would like to introduce some of the issues that the author considers important.
