N2  - The present paper analyzes trends in tuberculosis mortality rates in relation to suicide rates in Belarus from 19970 to 2005, by applying the time-series test. The analysis suggests the close association between the two time series in the period of 1984 to 1996. The findings support the idea that the rate of tuberculosis mortality can be considered as an indicator of psychosocial distress.<p />  <p>Language: ru</p>
