N2  - Used points of modern safety science and accident-cause theory, introduced the third-hazard research, and simplified the development of hazard theory as well as the structure and the definition of hazard by researches of accident cases, and discussed the relation among three types hazard and the model of accident-cause theory; then analyzed three types of hazard in coalmine, pointed out the reasons of accidents and how to control accidents in coalmine. At last, believed that researches should be strengthened on basic hazard theory, especially the recognition and control of the third hazard, so as to recognize all types of hazard completely which would lead to accidents, at the same time, the level of safety management and the prevention in coalmine enterprises could be improved.<p />
