N2  - This article used IDEAS soft and collision finite element soft PAM/CRASH to simulate two type configurations of motorcycle-car side impact test. The simulation can reappear kinematics of motorcycle-car impact. The results in the simulations is compared with those in the experiments. It could get the factors which influenced results of the impact simulation. The results of simulation agreed reasonably well with a real impact test.<p />
