N2  - It seems to be customary in practice to treat traffic assignment as independent problems in the four-staged transportation planning process, although they are in fact interrelated. In this paper, Evans' combined traffic distribution assignment model is introduced, and MSA algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. The MSA algorithm is illustrated by an example. This method can be solved by Microsoft Excel, it may be helpful for solving combined distribution-assignment of traffic problem.<p />
