A new panoramic stereo imaging system combined with a panoramic annular lens (PAL) and a convex mirror is proposed. It provides a large panoramic vision up to 360°× (30°∼150°) and, to the best of our knowledge, the entire FOV is the largest in the existing literature. Meanwhile, the stereo field of view is 35°.
