N2  - Authorship is increasingly discussed in international journals: in fact, the authorship and position of authors influence professional careers, the acquisition of funding, and individual and institutional reputation. International associations of editors of academic journals call for vigilance in cases of misconduct: ghostwriting and guest or gift authorship are frequent and penalise especially younger researchers and women. However, authorship is a concept in the making, strongly influenced not only by the social and ethical context, but also by technology. Today, artificial intelligence is an important aid for the editorial boards of academic journals. But it is likely to become a support for authors in the future as well, given the success of automatic writing software.     ===    Il tema della authorship è sempre più discusso sulle riviste internazionali: infatti, la firma e la posizione delle autrici e degli autori influenzano le carriere professionali, l'acquisizione di finanziamenti, il prestigio individuale e delle istituzioni di appartenenza. Le associazioni internazionali dei direttori delle riviste accademiche invitano a vigilare sui casi di cattiva condotta: il ghostwriting e la guest o gift authorship sono più frequenti di quanto si possa pensare e penalizzano soprattutto i ricercatori più giovani e le donne. Però, quello di authorship è un concetto in divenire, fortemente influenzato non soltanto dal contesto sociale ed etico, ma anche dalla tecnologia. Già oggi l'intelligenza artificiale è un aiuto importante per le redazioni delle riviste accademiche. Ma è probabile che in futuro si possa rivelare un supporto anche per gli autori, considerato il successo che già riscuotono i software di scrittura automatica anche di testi scientifici.<p />  <p>Language: it</p>
