N2  - The purpose of this work is to analyze on-center steering feel by using a steering simulator. Firstly, it is revealed that the steering feel is evaluated based on equality of sensation while steering and the sensation is derived from steering torque and stiffness of steering system. Next, perceptual and discrimination characteristics of both the steering torque and the stiffness of steering system were examined. Finally, ideal steering characteristic which can provide the equal sensation is formulated by the perceptual characteristics. Moreover, it is confirmed that steering characteristics whose steering feel are highly evaluated are strongly correlate with the ideal characteristic.<p />  <p>Language: ja</p>
