N2  - In order to study driver's behavior resulting in accidents and effectiveness of traffic accident-reducing active safety systems, a Driving Simulator was developed. The Driving Simulator was equipped with a real vehicle cockpit, a visual 360-degree spherical dome screen, a turntable system, a hexapod system, a vehicle vertical vibration system and a XY-axis motion system with a movement range of 35m by 20m. This Driving Simulator enables to simulate an actual situation a driver experiences, as for example, driving at an accident-prone intersection.<p />  <p>Language: ja</p>
