The high roll axis vehicle equipped with new suspensions is compared by full vehicle model simulations with a conventional low roll axis vehicle for ride quality and controllability. In consequence, the only problem of the high roll axis vehicle is that the lateral acceleration of sprung mass on a rough road increases nearly double as low axis model. Because other performances are the same level, the high roll axis vehicle is feasible enough.
