N2  - We have developed a new eye closure detection and gaze estimation method that processes a driver's facial images captured with a monocular camera in the vehicle cabin. Test results show that open/closed eyes can be detected with 90% and 70% accuracy, respectively, and that three gaze directions (front, right and left) can be detected with 80% accuracy without prior person-by-person calibration.<p />  <p>Language: ja</p>
