To confirm the effect of SBR, the following two items have been conducted in this survey. (1) Survey on the ratio of safety belt use with/without SBR: It was confirmed that SBR is very effective to increase the driver's safety belt use (from 90.1% without SBR to 97.3% with SBR). (2) Interview to users of SBR-equipped passenger cars: How and when SBR is activated were clarified, positive and negative evaluations of SBR functions were collected.
