N2  - The Traffic Commission recommends that, in deviation from the previous recommendation by the DOG and BVA (assessment of driving aptitude for road traffic, recommendation by DOG and BVA, 2019), for pragmatic reasons, a minimum contrast of 10 - 20% should be achieved with a vision requirement of 0.4 for driving ability should. The basic problem lies in the fact that no valid normal value data is available for all visual acuity levels. The Transport Commission expressly supports the opinion of PD Dr. Wesemann suggested that instead of testing contrast vision under photopic conditions, contrast visual acuity should be tested under mesopic conditions (twilight and glare conditions).     ===    Die Verkehrskommission empfiehlt, dass abweichend von der bisherigen Empfehlung von DOG und BVA (Fahreignungsbegutachtung für den Straßenverkehr, Empfehlungsschrift von DOG und BVA, 2019) aus pragmatischen Gründen ein Mindestkontrast von 10 - 20% bei einer Visusanforderung von 0,4 für die Fahrtauglichkeit erreicht werden sollte. Das Grundproblem liegt darin, dass keine validen Normwertdaten für alle Visusstufen zur Verfügung stehen. Die Verkehrskommission unterstützt ausdrücklich die Stellungnahme von PD Dr. Wesemann, dass anstelle der Prüfung des Kontrastsehens unter photopischen Bedingungen die Kontrastsehschärfe unter mesopischen Bedingungen (Dämmerungs- und Blendungsbedingungen) geprüft werden sollte.<p />  <p>Language: de</p>
