N2  - As developed by Dunbar, Alexander, Rawson, and others, the concept of "accident proneness" states that the majority of accidents occur as the result of subconsciously intended actions on the part of certain personality types. It is suggested that accidents are caused by deep-seated psychological conflicts in the individual, rather than by physiological or environmental conditions.
