SP - 156 EP - 168 VL - 30 IS - 2 N2 - This research aimed to investigate the relationship between family relationship and adversity quotient, and prevention of commit suicide at-risk of public university students in Bangkok. A questionnaire was employed to gather data from 450 public university students, selected by multi-stage random sampling. Data analysis comprised frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression; using computer program. The finding showed that the students as a whole rated their family relationship at a rather high level, and performed their all aspects of relationships at a rather high level. The results revealed that the students as a whole indicated their adversity quotient at a high level. When considering each factor, it was found that students rated "Control: C" , "Origin and Ownership: O"2 and "Reach: R" at a moderate level, but at a high level for Endurance: E. Almost all students performed prevention of commit suicide at-risk behavior for themselves and for others at a high level. The relationship between family relationship and adversity quotient, and prevention of commit suicide at-risk showed that family relationship and adversity quotient were positively correlated with prevention of commit suicide at-risk statistically significant at the.001 level. The stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that "family tie, love, and unity" was positively correlated with and influenced prevention of commit suicide at-risk statistically significant at the.001 level. The adversity quotient aspect that positively correlated with and influenced prevention of commit suicide at-risk statistically significant at the.001 level was "Control: C ".
