N2  - "L'Amico Charly ONLUS" is an association founded after the death of 16-year-old Charly Colombo. It combines a Youth Center - now a Service Center - and a Crisis Center, the first having the goal to prevent youth malaise through different activities addressed to adolescents and to adults; the second is an advanced center for teen suicide treatment headed by a group of experts of different disciplines. The association has also a training activities program. During the past years, the "model" has seen the cooperation of different public and private agencies that deal with teen malaise in various Italian regions (ASL, Regions, MIUR). Due to these interactions and having nowadays a new operative center (the "Officina dei Giovani" - the Youth Factory), the Association will become a true national observatory of youth dynamics and problems. © 2009 Elsevier Srl.
