N2  - Indoxacarb is an oxadiazine insecticide with a limited number of reports concerning its human toxicity. We describe here the case of a 66-year-old male with methemoglobinemia following deliberate ingestion of Indoxacarb during an attempt at suicide. With early recognition of the cause and administration of methylene blue, rapid recovery was observed and the patient was discharged after only a short admission. © 2011.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>
