TY - JOUR PY - 2014// TI - Clinical follow-up in the long term: Becoming a teenager in the context of acute suicidal behaviour JO - l'Information Psychiatrique A1 - Fortineau, J. SP - 137 EP - 140 VL - 90 IS - 2 N2 - Hospitalized in the children's psychiatry emergency ward after an attempted self-immolation, Peter aged 12 was suffering from a melancholic episode that required major anti-depressant treatment. Monitoring him and his parents during hospitalization and then three months later, he remained plagued by risk behaviour of which he had become aware at the age of 20. This situation prompted him to further consult his previous therapist for three years. Twice married and a father of four children, he came to see us at the age of 53 to verify that his condition had not been mistaken for early child precocity because his grandchildren were considered gifted.
