N2  - The study by Trevino et al in this issue of Cancer found that a strong therapeutic alliance between oncologists and young adults with advanced cancer was associated with a lower risk of suicidal ideation, demonstrating the unique and irreplaceable role of the oncologist in the mental health of patients with cancer.
