N2  - Too many citizens are imprisoned in England and Wales, expanding markets for the commodification of forensic services. Rather than being seen by prisoners as healthcare professionals, psychologists may increasingly be viewed as 'state psychologists' and thus lower the likelihood of disclosure of suicidal feelings, resulting in more avoidable deaths.
