TY - JOUR PY - 2019// TI - Men's health and inequality JO - Public health forum A1 - Bardehle, D. SP - 106 EP - 109 VL - 27 IS - 2 N2 - Gender inequality continues to have a negative impact on many health outcomes (USAID). Inequality in men's health is illustrated using the example of premature mortality in relation to women. The goal of this sustainable indicator is to reduce the mortality rate of men to 190 and that of women to 100 per 100,000 of population by 2030. What is the difference in mortality between men and women under 70 years of age? For 2016, an age- and gender-specific comparison will be made for premature mortality, accident and suicide mortality. © 2019 2019 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston.
