The aim of the study is an attempt to find an aetiological relationship between suicide and heroin dependence. The results show the association between heroin dependence and suicidal behaviour. But the relationship is not simply an aetiological relationship, it includes three frameworks; heroin dependence as a cause of suicide, as a form of suicide and as manifestations of a common aetiology
