Approximately 2 people out of 100 suffer from this disorder and they are mainly women. Borderline personality projects unprofitable onto individual development, disturbs interpersonal relationships and exposes to untimely death, because of autodestructional behaviors and suicidal tendencies strongly connected with this issue. The only purpose of treatment is acceleration of natural process of recuperation by appeasement of symptoms and improvement of functioning, especially an elimination of autoaggression acts and rescue from suicidal. In order to achieve the effects, very essential is to choose appropriate methods for each patients. Borderline personality disorder prognosis are far more advantageous than in any other mental disorder.
