N2  - A patient suffering from suicidal phobia who was resistant to antidepressants as well as to ECT was given systematic desensitization associated with autogenic training. 10 sessions were sufficient to cure the patient, and no relapse had occurred 1 yr later. The concomitant measure of GSR by an electrodermograph appeared to help in the control of such therapy (i.e., by allowing for detection of the patient's avoidance of anxiety-provoking thoughts).
