N2  - Medical examination of drivers is mandatory in Hungary since long time. The new licensing system that came into force in 1976 will be presented. In addition to the definition of preliminary and periodical examinations also the organization and frequency of these will be mentioned. Basic principles of medical judgment of fitness of aspirants resp. drivers will be discussed. Decisions that may be made by reason of medical examinations will be introduced, also their possible consequences and the ways of appeal will be talked over.<p />
