N2  - Medical impairment can be a significant impediment to the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle. The Bureau of Motor Carrier Safety of the Federal Highway Administration is responsible for the regulation of interstate commercial drivers through its medical certification program. This study is aimed at developing and strengthening the Bureau's program.<p />
