Abstract

Alcohol is a major factor in homicides, domestic violence, and police custodies. The material presented in this paper suggests that the experience of alcohol related disorder in society is very common. It focuses on the victims of alcohol related disorder. The analyses shows that young persons, males, those in the paid labour market and the unmarried have a greater probability of being victims of this kind of behaviour. In addition, the person's own level of alcohol consumption is significantly related to levels of victimisation.
