Abstract

It is the sentiment of the American Medical Editors' Association that there should be a Medical Officer in the President's Cabinet at Washington. That such an office be created and that the interest of the medical profession should be aroused, and that editorials be written to appear in the medical journals of this country, for the purpose of eventually accomplishing this result. The above remarkable resolution--remarkable, we mean, for its style of English composition--was sent to us by the American Medical Editors' Association. We are not aware that the American Medical Association has adopted any such foolish program. If it has, it had better reconsider before being laughed out of court.
