Abstract

The findings of this study would seem to be in accord with those of Stagner, Raskin, and Cook, in which Stagner's scale was used. The major difference between the scale used here and Stagner's scale lies in the method of scoring and in the aspects of fascist ideology covered by the various items. While none of the groups investigated was markedly pro-fascist, the range of scores indicates that some college students have a far greater degree of sympathy for certain fascist principles than might be expected from their otherwise antagonistic reactions to the fascist label.
