Abstract

Study of the pharmacological properties of a preparation from the plants of Mongolian milk vetch (Astragalus mongolicus) of the Leguminosae Juss. family showed evidence of a pronounced psychotropic activity. The main action components are the anxiolytic (tranquilizer), antidepressant, antiamnesic, and antiaggressive effects.
