Abstract

The author explores comments by Martin Luther relating to child abuse, wife battering and the confusion between sexuality and sexual violence, concluding that Luther is theologically ambivalent on these topics. The essay ends by indicating preliminary directions for a theology to transcend ambivalence related to sexual and domestic violence.
