Abstract

This article represents a portion of the remarks and discussion during a panel presentation at the Next Millennium Conference held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, August 29-September 1, 1999. The speakers represent the perspectives of Muslims, African American Christians, and White Mainline Protestants. They explore the issues of roadblocks and resources within each of their traditions and the relationships between religious and secular advocates working to address domestic violence.
