Abstract

This article focuses on the most common form of interpersonal violence: that of an older, more experienced male in a position of power or control, with authority and access to members of his family, classroom, private practice or congregation. There are now well-developed psychological resources useful for healing as well as civil and legal remedies demanded for restitution. The facts are clear, even if an organized Jewish response is still confused an inconsistent.
