Abstract

The concept of human trafficking was elaborated on. Its forms and ways of appearance explained. India acts as a destination, transit and origin country. Women and girl children are at higher risk of falling victim. So far, there is no continuous mainstream training scheme in any school system. In regard to India's long lasting traditions and cultural background, the author suggests including the subject of human trafficking in every school level. The information must be communicated from an early age on. The subject should be adapted for age appropriate communication.
