Abstract

All parents wish that their children are safe and healthy as they grow and learn with age. Today, children face numerous threats, but motor vehicle accidents, especially in the absence of car safety seats, are among the chief killers. For instance, motor vehicle injuries are the leading cause of death among children in the United States of America and placing children in age- and size-appropriate car seats and booster seats have reduced serious and fatal injuries by more than half.
