Abstract

Note: This publication discussed the effects of participation in the Chicago Child-Parent Center and Expansion Program (CPC) on school achievement and social competence.
The Child-Parent Center (CPC) Program is a center-based early intervention that provides comprehensive educational and family-support services to economically disadvantaged African-American children from preschool to early elementary school.
