Abstract

The article offers the author's view on the Division of Juvenile Justice Facilities in California. The author states that the facilities were formerly called the California Youth Authority (CYA) and stands as the model of the reformation of a juveniles in the middle of twentieth century. The author also mentions that the state of California will close of the facilities starting January 2013.
