Abstract

The article discusses the study "Trafficking in Women in Bosnia and Herzegovina," funded by the U.S. Embassy in 2003 and conducted by the Faculty of Criminal Justice Sciences at the University of Sarajevo. The study involved 691 respondents.

FINDINGS revealed that 93% of victims of trafficking were residents of Moldavia, Romania and the Ukraine and almost 93% of the victims said they had wanted to work abroad in order to earn enough money to make a decent living.
