Abstract

An essay is presented on Swedish laws of sex trafficking and kidnapping. It discusses the problem of social inequalities, sexual exploitation and prostitution and provides suggestion for improvements of Swedish law related to these issues and the obstacles in its legal application and judicial interpretation. It then discusses a brief history of Swedish laws, its impact after the introduction by conducting a comparative assessment with other countries and their jurisdictions.
