Abstract

An essay is presented on combating human trafficking. It offers a history of adoption of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, Supplementing the United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime (Trafficking Protocol) and other international human trafficking laws. It further discusses the limitations in current laws and the impact of criminal law on such violence.
