Abstract

Within some parts of the industry there is a strange aversion to the word "drone", and a great deal of effort is being spent trying to install some other label in its place.

It is strange because the argument is purely acacemic: we can't actually change the name now that it is in common usage. I believe that this debate will soon be forgotten as the industry matures and broadens, leaving its military roots behind as merely a historical footnote...
