Abstract

"Pluralistic Discourse Analysis" is a social research model implied by postmodernism. The traditional sociological research regards " peasant suicide" as the established objective fact and subjective construction result by positivism and interpretive, and pluralistic discourse analysis thinks it is the result of discourse construction. In this paper, the typical farmers' suicide case will be taken as an example to compare the multiple discourse analysis and empirical analysis and the model of interpretation, so that we can deepen the understanding of the pluralistic discourse analysis.
