Abstract

Within the framework of this material, the problems of transport accessibility of the Arctic regions of Yakutia are considered. The work describes in detail its natural and geographical characteristics. For a more detailed and detailed consideration of the issue, links are provided to the relevant regulatory documents of the Russian Federation, namely, on the development of the road network in the Arctic. After that, a competent assessment of transport accessibility was created, for which the Engel and Goltz coefficients were used, which made it possible to determine the zones with the least provision of the road network. Based on the results of the study, a substantiation of the need for active development of the road network is formed and recommendations are made to improve their current state and increase the transport accessibility of the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
