Abstract

Gender discrimination is an unequal behavior of an individual or a person. Gender discrimination impacts on human life. When any individual or person denied any opportunity for his/ her gender, it is a very pathetic situation for them. Because we know gender is not an issue to deny any individual. But still discrimination exists in our society. Gender discrimination creates a big discrimination in our society especially for women. Women are discriminated still now which directly impact on their empowerment. In this study, the researcher is going to study the gender discrimination and women empowerment which is a global issue in world-wide. This study helps to find out the discriminated women in our society. In rural areas still today women are discriminated, especially when a girl child born, various people show therein equal behavior like she is a girl child. In this study, the researcher here used quantitative method of research design and used a questionnaire tool for data collection. Gender discrimination still exists in our society or in our country and many women is the victims of gender discrimination and especially in rural areas, women and girls still faces discrimination and it greatly impact on their basic education. Inequality is a big factor in our society. When we change our thinking, we should remove the discrimination between genders from the society.
