Abstract

Our previous study proposed DCA (Deceleration for Collision Avoidance) and examined the effectiveness of FOCWS (Forward Obstacles Collision Warning System) based on the DCA. The present manuscript proposes four evaluation indices to provide multidimensional and quantitative assessment of safe driving. Numerical simulations are performed to verify the validity of the indices.
