Abstract

The present paper proposes a quasi-real-time safe driving evaluation system based on DCA (Deceleration for Collision Avoidance) to encourage spontaneous safe driving. Driving simulator experiments were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the system and to discuss the differences in spontaneous safe driving caused by the presence or absence of the system.
